The composition of the school’s Board of Trustees is set down in the St Michael’s Church School Trust deed (2021). The Board consists of:
- The Warden, the Bishop of Christchurch
- The Vicar of the Parish of St Michael’s and All Angels
- Five – eight Trustees nominated by the Board and appointed by the Parish Vestry. At least one of these Trustees must be a current parent.
