St Michael’s School P.T.F.A
The PTFA plays a busy and invaluable part in the life of St Michael’s. All school families are automatically members of the PTFA.
The PTFA arranges a great variety of social and fundraising events. The annual Pool Party & BBQ in February kick starts the year and is a wonderful opportunity for new families to meet the school community, and ‘old’ families to catch up after the summer break. The Wine & Cheese Party (with the AGM on the side!) proves surprisingly popular while it is no surprise that the Children’s Easter Egg Draw is hugely popular! The mid-winter event is a major fundraiser, along with the Labour Weekend sausage sizzle and the Christmas raffle. Pupils devour the bi-weekly lunchtime sausage-sizzle!
The Uniform Shop, which sells donated second-hand items, is a PTFA operation, staffed by parent and grandparent volunteers.
Funds raised by the PTFA are donated to the school for essential projects and purposes.
