The Parents’, Teachers’, Friends’ Association plays a busy and invaluable part in the life of St Michael’s. All school families are welcomed as members of the PTFA when they enrol.
The PTFA arranges a great variety of social and fundraising events. The annual Pool Party & BBQ in February kick-starts the year and is a wonderful opportunity for new families to meet the school community, and ‘old’ families to catch up after the summer break. The Wine & Cheese Party (with the AGM on the side!) proves surprisingly popular, while it is no surprise that the Junior Easter Egg hunt is greeted with enthusiasm! The mid-winter event is a major fundraiser, along with the occasional pizza night and the Christmas raffle. Pupils devour the fortnightly lunchtime sausage-sizzle!
Funds raised by the PTFA are donated to the school for essential projects and purposes.
